Wait why are you all saying "oh let's see how they go against the Dragons this week"

Ummmm.... Manly are fielding an even more understrength team?

Williams, Rodney, Lyon, G Stewart, Watmough are all out, this game will not mean anything, both teams are undestrength!

Anyway mate I agree with you, we will be even better with Brett back.

All these Dragons supporters who have suddenly appeared get it through your head that on Sunday both teams are severly depleted. And better yet: GRAND FINALS ARE NOT WON IN JULY

It won't make any real difference to the final score this Sunday if Brett Stewart is playing or not. This season the Dragon's have proved that they have the depth in their playing roster to cover the loss of the origin players. Don't get me wrong but no team relies on just one player and even though I think Brett Stewart is a better fullback than Billy Slater, his return won't make a huge difference to Manly. All I can say is thank you to the NSW selectors for depleting the Manly squad for round 18. And to Blake, of course the Dragon's supporters will answer this question since we are playing Manly next week. And to those who doubt the Bulldogs, they aren't coming second for nothing.

NRL titles are not won in July sure the Eagles are playing more consistent footy than at the start of the season and had a good win over the Dogs in an exciting close hard game , LUCKY I think not but luck does play it's part in ANY game, and without 5 or 6 counting B Stewart players out it will be a HUGE ask to get home over the inform Dragons away from Brooky but if they do win I guess some will put it down to LUCK lol I dont think Manly are counting on Stewart coming back and winning the comp but he will be a welcome addition, HEY BILL P what happened to the Australian way of INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY or maybe your not Australian I reckon you are still dirty on Manly for divorcing your beloved Bears as you never have ANYTHING POSITIVE to say about Manly. I suppose you thought Manly was LUCKY when they Humiliated the Storm 40 to 0 in the grand final lol Hey BILL tell us all how long it;s been since the BEARS won a GAME let alone a COMPETITION lets face it BILL the BEARS are a JOKE !!!

I think Diet is being pretty hard to say the Bulldogs ain't all that, maybe not but they are one of the most consistent in the comp. Weather you win by 1 point or 50 points you aim in any NRL Team is to firstly get the win then worry about the differential after that. Manly will be a strong favourite going into the finals with Stewart back there and I will agree with Diet that we missed Stewart for the S.o.O, things would've been so much different.

We won't learn anything about who will be Premiers this year from this weekends game. Both teams have too many quality players out. I'm sure it will still be an enjoyable high quality game but I think people are getting a little carried away. I think the Dragons will win this weekend because they have more depth than Manly but I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Orford and Soward showing us why they think they should have been picked for origin.

P.S. Brett Stewart is a freak, he's probably worth an extra try per game to any team he's in. It's unfortunate he's not in a blues jersey this year.

Brett Stewart will not be returning in 2009. His original return date was about a 4 weeks ago, that is being pushed back all the time, from what I hear, he's done for the season.

But he is far from the best fullback in the game, there are a few ahead of him.

Manly are a good team, they will make the finals and, who knows? But the likes of Melbourne, Gold Coast, St George and Canterbury will make life very hard for the premiers in September.

Yeah, I think so, If manly gets on a good winning streak which they already are in, Brett Stewart would just bring in an extra bonus.

But it would be embarrassing if Manly looses the game when Stewart returns, lol.

you got to remember manly where last on the ladder at the start of the season and looking real bad des hasler was just about to join the que at centrelink, they have accomplished alot this season so far they r the dark horse to win the comp but pretty much have to have a 90% record in the remainder of the season, they r definately not the best team in the NRL but are the form side of the comp, they had a lucky win over bulldogs who where due for a loss both teams this week end are understrength cant see them winning aggainst dragons though, When BT returns manly will be on fire But it will come down to the big 4 Bulldogs, Dragons, Titans and storm to take the Cup

The Bulldogs aren't all that. They almost went down to the Rabbitohs back in Round 5 and narrowly escaped an out of sorts Tigers outfit in Round 8.

Brett Stewart will be a welcome addition to Manly, but geez I reckon NSW missed him more.

Brett Stewart returns? Doesn't he have a court case coming up? If convicted will he do a Naquama and have periodic detention so he can play football. Will he be able to leave the state to play non NSW teams and the country for the Warriors?

Blake, no one from the Dragons is missing, being a bit selective aren't we?
