i grew up playing ,coaching and watching a great sport called Rugby League , what I saw over the weekend in NRL was a sad version of our once great game. They nw look to recruit "athletes" rather than "footballers" losing all the great characters out of the game , and everything looks very clinical and predictable. like to hear a few other opinions. thanks.

Seems that this annual fixture is not too popular with the NRL players these days, and many selected players pull out "injured". Your thoughts ?

have'nt heard a peep for weeks, have they backed off because they thought they were opening a pandora's box ??

ASADA have said that they have NO proof of anything, its all a great bluff to try and get players to confess and only get 6 mths suspension rather than 2 yrs. But if they have concrete evidence then name names and charge them OR shut up and go away. What you all think ??? (maybe the players should boycott playing until ASADA comes clean )

With all the hoo ha about the peptide use in the NRL, what are your thoughts regarding players being "needled up" to get on the paddock ? if they are not using "drugs" in those needles then what is it ? apple juice ? and if the needle does not "enhance" the players "performance , then what does it do ? your thoughts ??

We read in the Holy Bible that God told us "you shall have no other gods but me" but he did say "and i will create no more species than you" ? not that I have heard. How can anyone be so nieve as to limit "God" to only creating what we have here on our tiny speck in the vastness of what maybe thousands of universes beyond even ours , which science has yet to fully explore and understand ???

out of NRl and ARL Premiership !st Grade (think thats what it was before NRL) what clubs have been in the competition for the longest and never collected the dreaded "wooden spoon" ?

Are we not all simply human beings, we ALL bleed when cut. Do we need a worldwide threat to the survival of mankind to bring us ALL together as one ?

There is vast amounts of evidence dating back thousands of years that warrant at least debate that our planet has been (and continues to be) visited by extraterrestrial beings, but the major "religions ' continue to reject and refuse to discuss this evidence, but they worship a God from the Heavens, and believe "Angels from the heavens" have and still do visit us, Is this ignorance or fear ???? Sorry i cannot understand why they are so negitively dogmatic on this subject. Can anyone christian/ islamic/ buddhist/ hindu contribute something positive ?

Most people think Manlys attendence figues are the lowest in the NRL but apparently there are 7 other teams whose figures are lower than the Eagles , who are they ??

Win Lose or Draw neither team can advance their position on the table, why play Thurston, Bowen , Gallon and Carney and risk injury a week out from a sudden death final ??

There was a massive amount of money placed on Canberra thru the week, and the Dogs did not look a shadow of what they have the past 13 weeks since they last lost a game, taking nothing away from Canberra, but the Bulldogs did not look like they came to play seriously last nite, and if I remember they or 1 of their players were embroiled in a gambling scandal a couple of years back. What do you think ?

Anyone who is well schooled in Rugby League fully understands that NRL is nothing without quality players, so where do these players come from, AFL, Soccer, Rugby, Athletics, or maybe Field Hockey, no these players are developed by junior Rugby League clubs run by hard working volunteers, Junior League is finding it very difficult to "hold on" and numbers are declining. If quality players are to be produced in the future, a good chunk of the NRL's Billions must be directed and distributed to Junior Rugby League, without JRL there would be NO NRL.

I think every coach in the NRL should be coaching players to use shepard/ obstruction plays like we saw used by Pritchard in the Dogs ,Tigers game last nite, this is an illegal play , but teams are getting away with it because of "differing interpretations" of the rule, I would be tellin my players to use this play whenever they can. The lack of correct refereeing has opened a Pandoras Box, which every coach should be trying to exploit. Your thoughts ?

He was a great footballer and has kept his hand in by coaching down in Gerringong, could he be any worse than Daley, Fittler, or Dymock , they seem to be the ONLY choices NSW have. I reckon Mick would do a great job, sure not as much experience in coaching the "big boys" but how successful at top level have Daley and Fittler been ? At least it would not be all about Cronin, as it would be if Daley or Fittler got the job, what are your thoughts ?

It has to be Manly ( bring on the haters) playing in 3 Grand Finals and winning two of them and maybe a chance to go back to back this season , what other NRL club can better this record ?
