EDIT : Hehe yeah Bill , in an earlier day we had hot dogs sellers outside surburban grounds, fair admission prices and hmm i was going to say better refereeing standards , but not sure on that one , but one thing is for sure "Money changes everything" not only today but in the good ol early days as well. I guess you can't deny a player the chance to earn more money, nature of the game , and players don't have to go to other clubs if they love playing for their club more than money offered elsewhere. In the end it's all up to them.

No, because in ealier day we would have had the Manly-Warringah Rabbitohs or the Manly-Warringah Bears or the Manly-Warringah Magpies.
Edit: Doc, there was the odd bum ref in those days but they were mainly pretty good or at least competent. That's more than you can say for today's lot.

Up to the promoters but man this game is going to amazing, both have a similar style and obviously the Toovey and Hasler element is thrown into it.

my tip is with the dogs, they team is at finished stregth and that i think of this week they are rested (7day) and could deliver the activity to the eagles, dont get me incorrect i think of that it is going to likely be close inspite of the undeniable fact that
