Help plz!!!! car buying problem?
Im thinking buying a used car, yesterday i looked at this lexus 2005 es330 that have been "repo" from the bank or the dealer claimed so, the car is perfect except that the driverside mirror is crack and need to be replace and all tires are worn out need to be replace also. The car has 48k on it and asking price was 15,999, the dealer told me out the door price would be 18,200 but i offer him 15,000 out the door is that a reasonable starting price?? i test drove it and walk back in his office he decided to take 200 off so 18G even now but i was like i'll think about it and left and today he still havent call yet i mean if he dont like the price would he at least try to call me and work something if he want to sell it?? im confused need experts help here ty

your price sounds good. the 18K is too much money for that kind of car.
look on KBB.COM and see what price yo get from there.
or search for a similar car like that on autotrader.com or cars. com or any other car selling website you know.
dont believe everythign the dealer tells you. assume it's just a car that the dealer got their hands on and want to sell
also ask for a carfax from teh dealersihp. they should give you one without any money and you'll see the history of the car.
if they refuse, they're hiding somethign
