Xbox 360 Audio Question?

I thinking of adding a surround sound system to my home theater and my question is, is a HDMI cable running out of my 360 and into my reciever going to give me true 5.1? Or do I need a digital audio cable or something along those lines?

Well, it does depend upon the game, but yes, HDMI to an audio receiver would produce 5.1 (or greater) surround sound. But like I mentioned, the game has to support Pro Logic II to have true surround sound.

HDMI transfers HD Video and full Surround Sound audio. No, you don't need a separate cable.

Watch some youtube movies and you will the style you should actually replace take aside a equipment and re-alter it possibly or harm it till you have aby theory what you're doing. do no longer place a diverse disc from the alternative application equipment into yet yet another opposite. it incredibly is a waste of time and attempt additionally ought to jam your equipment.
