How can I make a template to work for my business expenses, rather than buying a new program?

I want quicken home and business but don't really want to fork over the $100 right now for it, so does anyone know of a free site that I can use, or have a template from excel that I can use to start recording and keeping track of purchases and expenses for the time being? If you need my email, please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi,

Excel has online templates for virtually anything, when clicking file/new click "search website" & type in description. You will see many types of pre formatted templates.
