In the interests of world peace should the USA?

I hope the American government stops involving itself with other countries, the US has alot of internal problems and really needs to concentrate on them and stop pouring money into wars.

No, we, Britons, ought to recolonise the Americas, as there is plenty of fertile land. If we use the land to its fullest, we should be able to produce enough food to feed ourselves and still have enough to export and create profit. In addition, the land that cannot be used for farming may be used to raise animals, and thus Britain would prosper and once again hope of being the Empire it used to be.

The only reason that we have world peace to the extent that we have peace is because of The United States of America.
