What is a good, cheap web & domain host?

I am looking into starting a website. I'm looking to have a domain and have file hosting from the same company. So far I've heard godaddy and 1and1 are good. I used to use aplus.net but it wasn't very user friendly. Thanks!

May I talk you out of godaddy. Maybe InMotion.com or StartLogic.com are good, but best to check out lots of them for best hosting package.

Domain can get from Godaddy, .info is 0.89c, Good luck.

First I'd start with a free domain from http://www.register.com/promo/acquisitions_lp_1.rcmx?trkID=EMAoFkNb1W

Then I would head over to http://www.worldbest.us/hosting and use code "HGCOUPONBLOG” when signing up to get the first month for a penny. Then $4.95 each month after. 

I thought it was a good enough deal not to pass up.
