Martin Truex to drive for Micheal Waltrip Racing...A Good Hire?

Yay for Truex! I am so sorry for the demise of DEI. RIP Dale to bad you wife could not get her head out of her butt to make it work. So sorry for the once magnificent DEI. Theresa should be ashamed.

I hope they (MWR) have better equipment in 2012. This is gonna be quite a bunch, Michael Waltrip, Mark Martin, Clint Bowyer and Martin Truex, Jr. Truex ran strong in some races this year, btw. I think Mark Martin might retire from the Cup after his MWR contract runs out. He's only a few years younger than my dad. Bowyer and Truex may still have more to give but not Mark Martin, necessarily, 'cause he's an old guy. Some people call him Mummy Martin or the Flying Wrinkle. Someone called him the ageless one.

I think that Truex going to MWR is a great move for him. Waltrip racing is getting better.They are showing that in 2 on their teams. Truex knows how to drive he showed that in the Nationwide series (Busch). Some drivers are bad a one team and great in another. I hope Truex all the best in 2010.

Truex sold out. He can't drive a Big Wheel, the Dover race he won was a fluke, as Rusty Wallace winning a championship. MWR improved for their "franchise" driver, but Mikey's car still sucks, although that has always been 95% driver.

Glad to see Waltrip finally admit it. Sorry.

I think it will be a good match.

Truex has Talent and maybe it will come out under MWR, because lately it has been tough for Martin.

I think Truex Jr. is making a mistake! MWR is not that great of a team.

I agee,Truex has way too much talent, but the second-and third-tier equipment of EGR hindered his chance to shine. I think he will be a beast in 2010 and 2011!!!!!

I'm glad to see Truex go with MWR. He deserves better than Chip & Dale's.
