Are there any pets that can live as long as a human?
To be more specific are there any practical pets that can live as long as a human? Pets that can live indoors or in a regular size back yard. Not something like a giant tortoise. Or as someone suggested a whale, lol.

Most of the larger hook-billed birds (like Parrots, Cockatoos, Macaws, etc) will live as long as (or longer than) a human does. In addition, several types of tortoises can outlive humans as well.

yes parrots can live as long or longer than humans depending on what breed you get, and a tortoise lives for a very long time also, horses live for quite a while....

O wait! a Rock can live up to 100 years.. this is the pet i recommend..

I don't think any pets live as long as humans unless you want a pet rock. But, horses can live 30 or more years. And, different birds like African Greys, Macaws, and Umbrella Cockatoos can live a long time as well.

Birds do.
Some macaws and cockatoos live as long as sixty years, some live longer.

i think birds ussally i have a bird and hes gunna live for like 40 yearslol my horse is said to live for 35 years

Cockatoos can live for 65 years or more.

some types of turtles live quite a long life, and birds live long lives too.
