My "Best Answers" are NOT Counting in the Total # Tally on my Profile Page!!.....?

I, too have not been credited {robbed} points on a total of 13 Answers of mine! I should have received 90 points before last Sunday's Grand Total, & 40 there after. This upset me, as it placed me at a lower ranking on Leaderboard. THAT is part of the AWARDS that you speak of. CORRECT?

As a fellow TieBuster....Another Reward or Award I'm sure you're referring to is, EVERY SINGLE POINT Brings you 1 step closer to becoming a LEVEL 6, thus giving you 100 Votes per day to Vote for Best Answer. OR NO Best Answer, as the case could possibly be. wink!

SO, I understand WHAT YOU MEAN when you say AWARD! HECK! The time and effort YOU put into YOUR Answers, IMO deserve an AWARD of there own!!

PLUS..It Just a Matter of Your Dedication Being Recognized. Some of the Advice and/or Opinions You/We Shell Out to Members Here, Others, Out There are Sitting at a Desk Being Paid a Salary For. Right!?

In 1 of the answers above me, a gal mentions having Faith in the Yahoo Gods or something like that...Well, THAT Is what I am doing, I have seen stranger things happen, So let's just hope that by the end of this Sunday's Tally, we Both get the points AWARDED to us.

Hi Belle. I been away, but I'm glad to be back.

I have no ideas on how to help at all. But I'm giving the Q a star (don't know if that gives you points, be nice if it did).

This is an interesting question and so are the answers. I never knew people really cared, much, about best answers and point and such. Very interesting, especially in such an environment. It seems clear that people vote for themselves and that there is there no one there to catch them. So there's no way to who's earned their rank and who just cheated. What's the fun of being high ranked if it's not earned. And how can you accept a lower ranking than a cheater has? Maybe I should post some questions. Gotta think about it, see if I care that much.

They eventually will. This is just another slolw quirk of yahoo. they spend so much time trying to "upgrade" that they can't keep up with repairing all the glitches they cause. Currently when I answer a question, most of the time it doesn't register, or the total percentages add up to more than 100% or mi answer reads zero percent. But I seem to be getting full credit by the time the BA posts.

Why do you worry about this, there is no reward for answering questions. People have a compeitive edge in them so they create a point system to keep you in the loop of continuing this madness of answering and hoping you get a 'best answer'. It's up to the person asking the question anyways to pick the best answer, but it's not like it really matters in the scheme of our daily life. At least I hope it doesn't.

Haven't heard from you in awhile, but as always I am busy with caretaking my son, and just surviving the cold weather that is still here.

I am guessing summer will come in August for a bit, as did last year.

No I did not know Elric so not going to give star going to send this and try it on your question if it does not come up your fault ha hax EDIT: Did it woot woot I sometimes star before I answer then at end click it again forgetting I did it and then it takes it off did you know that one too? lol

It seems YA has one problem or another on a regular basis. Eventually they fix it and things reset. Eventually you will get credit for your best answers.

You just have to trust that the Yahoo Technical gods will eventually fix the program.

This is just another glitch. I think you will find in time that your numbers will catch up. My tallies are always wrong when I first log on and then after a few answers they catch up. ;-)
