    Since the x coordinate is -2 both times, the equation is simply x = -2.

    First of all, you need to find the slope. The slope is found by the equation Y[2]-Y[1], divided by X[2]-X[1], where y is the second number a pair, x is the first number, and the [2]s and [1]s stand for which pair to use. In this case, the equation would be -2/0. In this case, the slope is undefined, since the denominator is 0. Because of this the answer is x=-2, since X[2] and X[1] are the same.

    x=-2

    First, find the slope of the line. Subtract the y's and then divide that by the subtraction of the x's.

    0-(-2)/ (-2-(-2))= 2/0= UNDEFINED/that means it is a vertical line. the equation of a vertical line is x=something. the something in this case is the x value. x=-2

    x+0y= -2
