Are the "Cure your Acid Reflux Now!" ebooks on the internet a scam?
I've had Acid Reflux for about 3 months, medication (omeprazole) has not helped at all, neither has changing my diet to bland foods, or using apple cider vinegar or slippery elm bark powder tea. Wanting to try out the Acid Reflux "cures" on the internet, but want to know if they are legit, or a scam, before I hand over my hard earned $50, to find out how to cure myself with their "ebook" information reports online. (My Doctor just keeps prescribing more medication which is not working.) Any ideas? Has anyone tried buying the Acid Reflux "Cures" over the net?

I had acid reflux for 4 years. You need to see a Gastroenterologist. You will firstly need a Endoscopy and they will insert a Bravo capsule into you whilst you are asleep. It will monitor your levels of reflux. If consider severe enough (mine were about 3-4x normal level) you qualify for surgery (Laproscopic Nissens Fundoplication) which involves tightening the sphincter valve in your oesophagus. You have to then go on a diet for 6+ weeks - 1st week mush, 2nd week toast, 3rd week maybe mince etc and work your way back to normal food. I had that operation nearly 5years ago and have been reflux free ever since :)
Invest your $50 in seeing a gastroenterologist instead, if you want a real cure.
Also, has your dr tried you on different medications? Losec, Pariet etc?

Chronic heartburn is usually from acid reflux - stomach acid is getting past the little valve and into your esophagus. You also should know some natural ways to treat your heartburn. Learn them here https://bitly.im/aMD4v
The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.
heartburn the most common symptom of acid reflux disease (also known as gastroespohageal reflux disease, or GERD). Heartburn feels like a burning pain in the center of the chest. It is caused by acid from the stomach backing up into the esophagus. is a symptom of acid reflux disease (GERD) Also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

I've had acid reflux my whole life. Changing my diet helped alot but that is difficult because the food as you said is bland. People who grewup with the diet handle it better since it's all they know.
I tried vinegar and apple cider but every time I gagged and sometimes threwup.
I was given medications that killed my stomach and either caused diahrea or made my crap rock hard.
At the moment I just get the cheapest over the counter pills, usualy wallgreens or local supermarket brand. No side effects from them.
Everyone is different though. But don't waste your money on those books.

There is really no good cure for Acid Reflux. Even if you modify your lifestyle..the disease is still there...most like from weak or damaged stomach muscle valves. Try different kinds of medicines like proton pump inhibitors..you might have some relief with that.
