What should I wear to this job interview?
I have a job interview today for an evening shift packing job in a factory, and am wanting to know what I should wear to the interview. Do I wear a matching ladies business suit / shirt / nice shoes, as though I was going to an office job interview (as all my jobs have been in the past), or dress in the clothing I would most likely be wearing in the factory once / if I get the job? (maybe a bit smarter casual.)?
After your ideas and opinions please,
Thanks!
5 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoWhat is a better way to say "Red Carpet Dresses"?
I'm trying to write a slogan / saying for a business that offers Formal and Evening dresses to ladies, but now that they are selling Red Carpet style dresses too, I need to incorporate that into their slogan /saying, so it has to be:
"(a better way of saying red carpet dresses), Formal & Eveningwear for Ladies."
Can anyone give me some ideas please?

2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoWhat do retail clothing stores in Australia do with their unsold stock?
Clothes that are not sold by end of season, or through stocktake sales must end up somewhere, and I was wondering where they go? To charities? To bargain shops? Back to the manufacturer?
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhat's the average clothes size of the Australian woman aged 24-38?
Question to all the ladies out there- what do you think is the average clothes size of the Australian woman aged 25-38? And if you aren't too shy to say, what clothes size are you?
I'm looking to start a clothing business next year, and am just doing a little research.
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoAre the "Cure your Acid Reflux Now!" ebooks on the internet a scam?
I've had Acid Reflux for about 3 months, medication (omeprazole) has not helped at all, neither has changing my diet to bland foods, or using apple cider vinegar or slippery elm bark powder tea. Wanting to try out the Acid Reflux "cures" on the internet, but want to know if they are legit, or a scam, before I hand over my hard earned $50, to find out how to cure myself with their "ebook" information reports online. (My Doctor just keeps prescribing more medication which is not working.) Any ideas? Has anyone tried buying the Acid Reflux "Cures" over the net?
5 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoSwearing on the bible in an Australian court?
What happens in a situation where someone has to swear on the bible that they will tell the truth in court, if they don't believe in the bible, or are an atheist? Or a pagan? Or from a religion which has no recognised specific book of religious importance?
What do they make you swear on to say you'll tell the truth?
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoPast Lives Question- how would I find out?
Is there any way to find out for sure who someone was in a past life?
My baby daughter reminds me so much of my Grandma, (as strange as it sounds) and was wondering if any one out there might know how I could find out for sure?

3 AnswersMedicine1 decade agoWhy won't my overtired 8 week old baby take day naps?
Hi, my 8 week old daughter sleeps from 9 at night to about 3 in the morning, wakes for a feed, then resettles and sleeps again until about 6:30 when she wakes up for another feed.
Other than night sleeps, during the day she is probably getting no more than 3 or 4 hours tops through the whole day, all broken up in little catnaps of anywhere between 5 mins to 1/2 an hour.
The rest of the time she is crying and wanting to sleep,
Is this normal?
How can i get her to sleep for longer periods, so she isnt so tired, and so hard to settle to sleep? I'm trying to put her to sleep as soon as i see any tired signs, but it is hard when she seems tired all the time.
All suggestions from Mums and Dads welcome!!!
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoVBAC Vs. Elective Caesarean for second child?
Hi, wondering if anyone else has had to chose between trying Vaginal Birth after Caesarean, or Elective Caesarian for their second child? And your experiences of the situation?
I am having a lot of trouble weighing up both, as my first birth experience ended up with trying for natural birth, but getting induced, not dilating enough, and having my baby in distress, so emergency caeser was done. I'm only 8 weeks pregnant now, but want to work it out early, so I can choose my care giver (ie. midwives, or Obsterician), unless anyone knows of other options? I'm in Australia and don't have private health insurance.
6 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoFood Hygiene question: when can I put hot food in the fridge?
Wanting to know, once and for all, when is the right time to put hot food into the fridge?
Some people have told me straight away is ok if it is covered, some have said wait till it is warm, then its ok, some say uncovered in fridge is ok if it is warm, or do I have to wait till it is cold before I put it in? Wanting obviously to prevent germs and bacteria from spoiling the food, (and the people who eat it!)
I'm very confused as my Mum says one thing, my hubby says another, and my best friend thinks something else.
7 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoWhy don't cat's attack pigeons?
Our cat leaves pigeons alone, but has been known to go after pretty much all other birds, (not that she ever gets them!)
Why doesn't she ever bother with pigeons? Even though they come right up to her when she's napping!
6 AnswersCats1 decade agoWhat's a good baby name for 2nd baby, to match daughter "Lucy"?
Not sure if we are having a girl or boy, but having trouble thinking of names that would go well with our 1st daughter's name: "Lucy", as we keep disagreeing on names we like.

I have a few friends I care about, and when I write emails to them, I never know what to put. they aren't family, just friends, so do I just put "love from.........", or is there a less sloppy way of saying it without it being a bit wierd, because coming from me, it would sound weird to some of them I think.

1 AnswerDancing1 decade agoHow do I get my 10 month old baby to fall asleep herself?
I have been trying for months to get my 10mth old baby to fall asleep herself. I used to hold her arms and legs down in bed, and face away from her, until she drifted off, which normally took 2-10 mins. She stands up, roams the cot, screams and cries otherwise. I am now trying to train her to go to sleep herself, without me having to do that.
She is now in a bedtime routiene, (bath, milk, relax, then bed) but her daytime naps are the main trouble. I have tried the Cry it out method, and all she ends up doing is screaming her lungs out at me, and standing at the end of the cot, where her bedroom door is, crying and screaming until she is hysterical, and out of breath, and she gets herself to the stage where i'm worried she might pop a blood vessel in her head or something! Is it safe to leave her to that stage?
Any ideas on how to get her to nod off to sleep by herself without me holding her down?

2 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoHow do I stop catching colds from Air-conditioning in cars/buildings/home?
I keep catching a cold every 4-6 weeks about 1/2 a day after being in a car with the Air-con on high, or out anywhere like the shops or in a building with the air-con on, on hot days. Why does this keep happening, and how can I prevent it? I have had more than 6 colds already this year. I have vitamin c and garlic tablets when I think I might be more prone to catching a cold, but somehow still end up coming down with one anyway. Anyone have any suggestions?
2 AnswersInfectious Diseases1 decade agoWhat is a "Mongolian Blue Spot" and what does it mean?
I was born with a Mongolian blue spot on my back, which faded when I was about 12 months old, neither of my parents or grandparents had one, and my mum thinks it is a throwback from Eastern European descent. Can anyone tell me more about it? My daughter was born without a blue spot, and I'm told it usually skips many generations. My heritage is mostly English / Irish / Scottish to my knowledge.
