Give the reason why guns for individual security has advantage or disadvantage?

Using a gun to insure your personal security is a large responsibility.

Advantage, when the bad person tries to do something naughty, you can stop the action and keep your life. If you call the police, they will be by in 10 or 15 minutes to put your body in a bag.

Disadvantages, you have to clean up bad people stuff from your floors and perhaps walls. (Not too hard a task) You do get to keep living while doing this. There may be some emotional issues.

In short...

The advantage to having a gun, is that they are extremely efficient for personal security when used properly.

The disadvantage to a gun is, is that having to use it to kill someone in self defense is going to take a huge legal and emotional toll on any individual.

There are no disadvantages to owning a gun.

If someone breaks in with the intent of raping me....look out.

If someone breaks in with the intent of robbing me but I don't know that's all he is after....look out.

When I am the only one in my neighborhood who has food and water...look out.

When my unarmed neighbor is being beaten up...look out.

It is my 2nd Amendment Right to own a gun and I'm not giving it up.
