    Hmm. When my last boyfriend used tongues, I don't recall it sounding like that. But he was from St Louis, not San Diego, which could explain things.

    A good way to start speaking in tongues is to say "Gotta Honda wanna buy a Yamaha" over and over. Works every time.

    Very amusing (not). But as a linguist, I guarantee you that I could give you 20 examples of languages, and you wouldn't be able to discern real languages from gibberish.

    I've administered that test to numerous people over the years, and every one of them thought legitimate living languages were gibberish.
