What do u think of these wrestling statements (inside)?

1. The Rock will never return to WWE. Anyone hoping for him to return is wasting their time.

2. If WWE hype Batista's retirement more than HBK's, that would be a disgrace.

3. Currently, Boreton will not be as good as Cena, let alone Stone Cold.

4. HHH's nose is only 4 inches shorter than Eiffel Tower.

5. It will not be surprising if The Rock goes to HOF earlier than The Undertaker.

6. The younger talents will finally main event Wrestlemania after Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Triple Nose retire.

7. Some users saying at Wrestlemania 25 Jeff vs Matt would be close with Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker in terms of quality was freaking ridiculous, especially the fact the other match was a match for ages where the other one was...u know.

8. Believing Taker could carry Kozlov to a legendary match like he did with Batista at Wrestlemania 23 is even more ridiculous.

9. Perhaps their match at Wrestlemania 25 was the last 'match for ages' Undertaker n Shawn Michaels would ever give the fans in their illustrious career.

10. If HBK really retires next year and Vince still got his brain intact, he will hype the retirement like there is no tomorrow.

State your opinion for each statement. Best opinions will win 10 points.

    1) Agree-The Rock is gone and he's not coming back. I wish people would understand that The Rock is never returning to wrestling. He's become a pretty big movie star and he's a good actor. Why would he want to come back to wrestling?

Now, alot of what The Rock does pisses me off. Sure, I like his movies, but I can't stand the shots he takes at wrestling, I don't like that he won't make cameo appearances at Wrestlemania and I really hate how he only goes by Dwayne Johnson now, and refuses to acknowledge that wrestling is what gained him his fame.

    2) Agree-Not even Vince McMahon is that crazy, and I do think that they they will make a huge deal of Batista's retirement, but you're right, if they even attempt to make it better than Shawn Michaels', that would be a travesty. I know that Batista has a following, and that Vince has this weird obsession with huge wrestlers, but come on, it's freaking Shawn Michaels. We're comparing arguably the biggest legend in wrestling history to a steriod freak that cheats on his wife, has a tendancy to injure his co-workers and is a jerk to the fans.

    3) Agree-Vince's massive investment in Randy Orton has easily been one of the biggest mistakes Vince has made in years. I still like Orton, but it has become abundantly clear that he's failing miserably as the face of RAW. He's shown that he can't carry feuds like Cena can and even though he's probably a better pure wrestler than Cena, Cena is way, WAY better for wrestling than Orton is. As for Stone Cold, not even close.

Man, I am SO tired of Orton...

    4) Disagree-Man, I'm pretty sure that his nose is closer to Statue of Liberty proportions.

    5) Disagree-I do think that both of them will find themselves in the Hall of Fame someday, but I would bank on The Undertaker entering first. I think that, much like Randy Savage, Vince is probably a little ticked off at the way that The Rock has handled his departure from WWE. The Undertaker has stayed loyal to the WWE for his entire career and has been without a doubt the company's most consistant performer. I think that as soon as he retires, WWE will make a big deal of his Hall of Fame induction at Wrestlemania.

    6) Disagree-I think that having Triple H retire would really advance that, but as they've gotten older, I think that Shawn Micahels and The Undertaker have allowed others into the main event title picutre. Just look at John Cena. He's consistantly been involved in the world championship matches for years now and he hasn't been around nearly as long as those other three. The same goes for Edge and in recent years, Randy Orton.

    7) Agree-I think that Jeff vs. Matt could have been a lot better than it was. The big problem with that match, and really all of Wrestlemania 25 as a whole, was that there were just SO many huge matches that there wasn't nearly enough time given to developing all of them and that led to a number of them tanking (except for Triple H-Orton, which was hyped more than the church hypes Jesus and it still sucked).

I was expecting way more from the Hardys but I knew that it wasn't going to be better than The Undertaker/Shawn Michaels, no matter how good it was. Aside from not nearly enough promo time, the Hardy match turned out to be just a spotfest. They could have done WAY better.

    8) Disagree-I think that Kozlov is a better wrestler than Batista is. Everyone says that Kozlov is really boring, but I think that has a lot to do with the way his push last year was conducted. Plain and simple, it wasn't booked very well at all. Now, I can't stand Batista. He's a terrible wrestler who got carried to the absolute best match of his career. If The Undertaker can make him look like gold, he can do the same for Kozlov.

    9) Agree-I think that both of them still have a few amazing performances left in the tank, and that they're both coming back, but it's going to be pretty tough to top what they did at Wrestlemania. Now, I don't want to rule anything out, because if there are any two guys in wrestling that I can count on to hit a proverbial home run at any time, it's Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.

    10) Agree-I'd like to see Shawn go out by headlining Wrestlemania. That would be the perfect way to do it. I don't even care if it's for a title or not, but I would love to see Wrestlemania end with HBK as the final winner of the night. I don't know if that will ever happen, but that's the way that it should be.

    1. The Rock will never return to WWE. Anyone hoping for him to return is wasting their time.

i agree, he used the WWE for his movie career and was over rated

    2. If WWE hype Batista's retirement more than HBK's, that would be a disgrace.

most definitely, Batistas best match is still worse quality than a shawn michaels match against someone like koslov

    3. Currently, Boreton will not be as good as Cena, let alone Stone Cold.

    no way

    4. HHH's nose is only 4 inches shorter than Eiffel Tower.

you always make comments about HHHs nose in everyone of these you write... it gets old and isnt that funny

    5. It will not be surprising if The Rock goes to HOF earlier than The Undertaker.

i bet undertaker gets inducted the year after he retires

    6. The younger talents will finally main event Wrestlemania after Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Triple Nose retire.

again with the nose... but no, cena will still have the spotlight, followed by edge and orton. in a few more years itll be dibiase vs rhodes for WWE championship

    7. Some users saying at Wrestlemania 25 Jeff vs Matt would be close with Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker in terms of quality was freaking ridiculous, especially the fact the other match was a match for ages where the other one was...u know.

no match will ever be as quality as that, its pathetic how people actually think that

    8. Believing Taker could carry Kozlov to a legendary match like he did with Batista at Wrestlemania 23 is even more ridiculous.

would never happen now that koslov became a jobber after his first loss

    9. Perhaps their match at Wrestlemania 25 was the last 'match for ages' Undertaker n Shawn Michaels would ever give the fans in their illustrious career

that is quite possible but i hope not, most likely for taker but i doubt HBK, he'll make his last match one to remember, taker doesnt have the best quality of matches, but just his presence gives a completely different feeling

    10. If HBK really retires next year and Vince still got his brain intact, he will hype the retirement like there is no tomorrow.

he should, itd be the biggest loss to the WWE yet!

Undertaker. - Yeah because The Rock's been out longer do 'Taker might still be wrestling when The Rock goes in

    6. The younger talents will finally main event Wrestlemania after Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Triple Nose retire. - Agree and can't wait

    7. Some users saying at Wrestlemania 25 Jeff vs Matt would be close with Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker in terms of quality was freaking ridiculous, especially the fact the other match was a match for ages where the other one was...u know. - agree. 'Taker vs. HBK = Greatest match ever

    1) The Rock has already said that he was done with wrestling because he wants to act.

    2) True. But I didn't know Batista was retiring! Where did you get your info?

    3) Did you mean Orton or did you do that on purpose because you think Orton is boring? Regardless, It's a toss up with comparing their wrestling ability. Neither are very good wrestlers from a scientific type! But they are very good at marketing and selling themselves. But Ric Flair, there never will be another Ric Flair! He's the total package! (not the Luger total package.) A true hard working living legend!

    4) I never really paid too much attention to HHH's nose! But I will check it out!

    5) I don't believe the Rock will go before the Undertaker. The only way I see that happening is that the Rock is retired, and Undertaker isn't. Do you have to be retired to make it into the WWE Hall Of Fame?

    6) I don't think the younger talents will ever main event. Remember, they are still green so to speak And in order to succeed and make money at PPV's They will need a veteran to give the fans what they want. It's all about the Benjamin's! LOL

    7) I think this brother verses brother is old. Remember when the Harts (Brett-Owen) were fighting with each other that something terrible happened. With owens accident. Brett feels like that wouldn't have happened if he were still in the WWF. And as of last Mondays RAW event, The story line has been added that Carlito and his brother are now fighting with each other. And that's a shame because in my opinion, Carlito and his brother is a good tag team! I mean, where do they go from here? Just not a good thing to do, even if it is the story line.

    8) Kozlof is young and green. But every wrestlers jobs is to make their opponent look believable that they can out wrestle their opponents . So who better to do it than the Undertaker! Ric Flair was the master at achieving this!

    9) It was a very good match I thought!

    10) My opinion is; is that HBK should get that type of respect! Look at how much money he made for Vincent Kennedy McMahon! And besides, I think HBK is the best wrestler that the WWE has to this point. No one comes even close in my opinion. Maybe HHH in a very close second. But HHH can't hold a candle to HBK. HBK can do it all! Be it scientific, a brawler, and a darn good interviewer! The closest that HHH will be is he's a good brawler!

    1. That's a true fact and anyone who thinks this is false should go get his/her head examined! The Rock has starred in how many star movie roles now? He's too busy to return and his no time for WWE now.

    2. Agreed, if the WWE hypes Batista's retirement more than Shawn Michaels they are wasting valuable Wrestling time. HBK is a WWE Legend, Batista is just a nobody who got his start in Evolution and never even got his Legend's Train rolling yet and I'm glad this has-been is finally out of our lives come this April!

    3. Sorry man, I have no idea who the hell Boreton is? But, here's another fact for you: CENA SUX!

    4. Agreed, but Triple H is still the best of the best, the King of Kings, the Cerebral Assassin, and a 13-time World Heavyweight Champion! And that's why he's my #1 favorite Wrestler!

    5. No, that wouldn't surprise me either. But, on the other hand The Rock ditched the WWE for his stupid movie acting so why should he get in anyway? ...........................................................................................................................................Maybe because he's THA PEOPLE'S CHAMP!

    6. Well, we still have Randy Orton, John 'fag' Cena, The Big Show, Chris Jericho, and The Rated R Superstar EDGE! So, I wouldn't say the "youngest" talents.

    7. Yeah, but I would say that Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker was the greatest match of the night, the 2009 Match of the year, and no other match can come close to the excitement and amazement of which HBK and The Deadman went that night!

    8. Yeah

    9. Well, no because Shawn Michaels still has one more match left in him and that 1 match is at WrestleMania *26* against The Game, TRIPLE H! Also, The Undertaker is a Phenom in this business and can still perform at great heights, so you never know?

    10. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH! If Vince McMahon is smart he will do the right thing and Hype up HBK's Last Match more than that Steroid using Batista's Last Match!

    GREAT STATEMENTS!

  • 1 decade ago

    1. Agree. He's moved on... Not coming back.

    2. Agree. Batista deserves a quick salute, then a quick goodbye. Nothing more. He has nothing on HBK.

    3. Disagree. I personally don't like Cena, and neither can match Austin.

    4. Agree... lmfao. It has the honor of topping the great Pyramids, too.

    5. Disagree. I don't think either of them will go to ROH.

    6. Agree. The only exception I can think of is the (overhyped) possibly match between Morrison and HBK.

    7. Agree. The Hardy match felt really forced and overly dramatic.

    8. Agree. Kozlov needed to be released a while ago in my opinion.

    9. Disagree. Maybe Taker, but HBK's got a few good ones left.

    10. Agree. Only problem is I'm not sure Vince's brain IS intact.

Might come and add to this later (probably not though)... very tired.

  • 1. The Rock will return to the WWE. And anyone hoping for a return is a devoted Rock fan...

    2. Agree, Batista's career comes no where close to the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michael's career...

    3. Randy Orton is already better than Cena in my eyes, and no one will ever be as good as Stone Cold...

    4. Funny, I thought it was 4 inches taller...

    5. I wouldn't be suprised...

    6. True...

    7. HBK vs Taker = Legendary, Hardy vs Hardy = a good match...

    8. Kozlov and lengendary match don't go together...

    9. Yeah, they will never give another match like that...

    10. I hope so...

1- I agree with you but I will willingly waste my time hoping for Rock vs Cena until one is dead or crippled

2- It would but it would never do that. WWE is obsessed with Batista but it loves HBK more. Shawn Michaels' retirement will be the event of the century and I will cry until HHH stops pointlessly squashing new talent ie forever.

3- Not True. He is boring at the moment with his painful to watch Hunter feud and slow talking coward gimmick but if he could recapture the legend killer magic he will surpass Cena. But never Rocky.

4- Here's a secret: the eiffel tower is actually a fake. The real one has been stolen and transplanted under Paul Levesque's skin in disguise as a nose. Clever plan, huh?

5- I would be surprised. I expect Taker to be inducted in the next few years but it's impossible to predict the timing of Vince McMahon's mood swings. I hope he offers Rock to join but is turned down that would be funny.

6- No, by that time Cena RKO and Edge will be the old balding talent stealing the spotlight. WWE will go on only putting wrestlers in the main event only when they're OAPs and holding down those that people care about forever. And do you really believe that HHH will retire? He'll be killed in the ring in his 70's.

7- No, I don't know. I agree that Michaels vs Taker was twice as good as the Hardys' match but it wasn't bad. But yes, freaking ridiculous is a good phrase to describe that comparison.

8- Even the legendary phenom couldn't make a watchable contest with that useless freak. And I wouldn't call Taker Batista legendary, more exceeds expextations.

9- I hope not. I am inclined to say it's likely, but come on - how many times have we thought that one or both of them has alraedy given his best only to be devastated by some amazing match we never would've imagined? I for one have learned never to underestimate either of thesetwo.

10- Yes, but it will be a waste. The match,is announced in time and against the right opponent will hype itself more than Vince ever could.

    1) I agree he is Gone!!!

    2) Batista of Bitchsta sucks.

3)Quit hating on Orton he is better than Cena will ever be. Not as good as the Rattle snake

    4) H has a big nose bit its old move on.

    5) Well The Rock has been out of action should go is soon.

    6) It's kinda of happening already.

    7) Jeff/Matt Hardy was not even in the same category as Taker/HBK should win match of the Year. Those pick Jeff/Matt did not watch WM.

    8) Not as ridiculous as believing that Jeff/Matt was better than Taker/HBK. Kozlov not a bulky as Bitchsta.

    9) Taker/HBK always gives a good match, it will be hard to top WM25 though.

10)HBK will go out with a flame and he will stay out unlike Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!

    1. There's a chance. He starred in a movie with a Superstar recently, so who knows?

    2. Yes, it would be.

    3. I'm not completely sure who Boreton is.

    4. Never heard that one. :P

    5. I wouldn't find it too surprising,

    6. They sort of already do. And could you shut up about the nose?

    7. Uhh... They were both great matches, but yes, HBK vs Taker was for the ages.

    8. Pretty much, but who knows.

    9. That is very possible, as some argue that match was the best ever.

    10. Oh, for sure. HBK is possibly the best superstar, and save for Taker, the only legend left on the roster.
