If a person had the solution to global environmental crisis, practical, and actual, how should that be offered?

I will be looking for sincere responses.

Update:

Hmmm....it seems my question has stimulated a sense of frustration, denial.

None can do it alone.

When recycling is finished so are recyclers-unless they recycle themselves into a new idea( or join the natural entirely).

No government or big business or money seeker is interested in giving the PEOPLE the freedom of a real solution - there goes profit. You can not make it profitable enough to sustain the biosphere-we can only accept that change has happened and we have a chance to help the earth smoothly transition. We can as individuals, but not by only buying green.

Update 2:

I do say that even considering global warming, as reported, a farce, still we must not forget the relavance of the soil to canopy carbon cyle. Nor may we deny the real expansion and migration of deserts. As well it seems only natural to tend the earth into a more inhabitable, more biologically flourishing condition for every body's well being.

It is, by the way, obviously hotter in the street than over there in the forest - at least during the heating portions of the day.

Even where I live the open, compacted field surface temp tested 125 and over there nearby, in the direct sun but closer to treelines and grass was nearly 15 degrees cooler. Solar radiance is real.

Generally educated people will put their ideas into practice in their home or business proving the concepts practically over time. Through insulation and other tactics I have reduced my energy usage for heating and cooling by about 80% over the last 10 years. Next will be methods of heating water and generating electricity using solar and wind methods mixed to gain the most from both. Skeptics work hard to develop and put into place cost lowering methods for others to use. Liberals on the other hand only want to tax the productive workers to provide incomes to those unwilling to be productive or responsible.

It has to go through the political process and be discuss an thoroughly scrutinized to determine the benefits it will do as well as the harm. Unfortunately, who has a say in the political process depends in large part on wealth. However, keeping informed and involved in the political process and letting the public know how politicians respond will create a situation where politicians see it in their best interest to act responsibly instead of taking the buy off and burring the issue. Acting responsible might mean significantly changing your solution to make it more equitable between the winners and losers, but that is good. For example, if the solution is a 100% tax on oil, that won't fly. We may have to have a smaller across the board tax on all groups or people. The AGW problem is not the oil industries fault. It is an unforeseen social problem and should be dealt with by society as a whole. Oil is not evil. It made lots of advances possible. Society has benefited but now society must mitigate the problem.

I guess I'm saying to give it to your political leader and stay after them. Get updated. If you can submit the idea through a scientific, industry, environmental social group of some kind it may get more attention, but that means selling them on the solution first. This is probably a good first step in any event to see if the idea has a chance of withstanding scrutiny.

there already are answers, but it involves people doing something for themselves instead of waiting for someone else to fix it for them. i'd say the best thing you can do is show people the financial benefits of the options.

cap and trade will cost us an escalating amount of money as time goes on.

doing nothing will cost us an slower escalating amount of money as time goes on.

investing in various technologies (solar, wind, water) will cost us more immediately with a decreasing amount of money as time goes on.

building your own 'green' tech won't cost much now and will decrease the amount of money you pay as time goes on.

global warming, climate change, global cooling... whatever bullshit excuse they are using to get at your money these days doesn't change the fact that they are just trying to get in your wallet. if you want to keep your money, help the environment, stop being lazy and waiting for someone to do it for you. you're looking at congress to fix a problem that they started. that's ridiculous.

example: for my house, i built a passive solar water heater/oven. it cost about $200. it's on my roof, the sun heats my water for free, and i have roof access, so if I want to cook something, I put it in a crock pot and put it in the enclosure for a few hours. all for free. free hot water. free 'electricity' to cook with. my power bill and gas bill have dropped substantially. if you have a radiant heating system, it's not all that hard to compensate the unit with this either. then your heating in the house in the winter as well... all very easily, all for free, no taxes, no government... just you solving a problem for yourself with no interference.

another you could do that's ridiculously easy is garden. grow your own food. you can compensate your food bill $500-$1000 a year EASILY by just taking some initiative. If you want to take that a step further and you're able, put the garden on your roof and use the soil for insulation. seeds are like... maybe $10 for multiple vegetables. if you look at it as an investment, your return is incredible financially speaking. All you have to do is collect and save some rainwater and throw it on your plants every now and then.

overall, the answer to the environmental 'crisis' is take some initiative and do something for yourself. if you wait for it to be fixed some other way, you'll be paying for it because that's what they do, find ways to take your money... money that you earned by trading hours of your life... so they are essentially robbing you of hours of your life. that's slavery last time i checked.
