Beginning year, need a new look!?

Well due to the lack of info (Age, height, weight, rich/poor), I will try to put my input at best.

First off, why are you changing? You get to Jr. High, you will most likely find a click to hang out with. Let's say I told you to go skater because those guys are cool, but you find out you can't ride a skate board, and the guys smoke pot and you don't like drugs? Then you are a poser and odds are no one will like you but the other posers (these guys are the white guys who act black, the asian guys who act gangster and the fat chicks who act popular) then you are in their group and you have no choice.

I would suggest you just be yourself and find a few people who like you and have the same interests. Then fit into their clothes and style. Trust me going in with a new look because you are tired of your current look will just lead to you being someone you either don't want to be or need to be. Besides, I can tell you this due to I have just been through school and none of it matters outside or once you get out.

If you want to dye your hair, do it, and add clothes that fit. It sounds like you are dying your hair for the right reasons because you want to and not because it looks "cool". Odds are the skater "Look" or "emo" look would fit your hair, but not skating or being emo you might just be a freak.

I hope this has helped. Trust me a look is just a look, if you're an idiot or something else then you are still just a look. No one will like you if you look cool but are a complete loser, especailly if you're posing.
