Hardcore bands with funny song titles?
Is anyone else sick of this? hardcore or metal bands with funny song titles, that have absolutely nothing to do with the song at all. i can sorta see pop punk bands doing it but when bands like The Devil Wears Prada ro Emmure do it, it just annoys me. and by the way i don't listen to these bands, i think they're all terrible (sorry for anyone who likes them) but i've just seen their song titles. and another thing the same bands do that's similar is their t-shirts that have funny pictures on them. like i was at Warped tour yesterday and i passed by the tent for The Devil Wears Prada and they have a shirt with Tim and Al from Home Improvement, but they're like zombies like wtf rly? and they have another one with Dwight from The Office as a zombie. please tell me i'm not the only one noticing any of this lol
i mean long song titles sorta annoy me no matter what genre it is but i just think it's weird how all these hardcore bands are doing it now all of a sudden. it just seems like it's becoming a trend that these bands are using to get attention. and it was one thing when fob and panic had them and now all these bands do it. idk guess i'm the only one who thinks so

i think its strange that you think pop punk bands doing that is okay, but when a hardcore band does it it's not. what difference does it make what genre they are really? i have nothing against it, sometimes they're really witty.
Now, P!ATD and Fall Out Boy's ridiculously long titles is another story..

i gues its just what the "thing" is right now, its just really creative with the shirts especially cuase what would you rather have, a shirt with just the name of the band or a shirt with the name of the band with a random awesome picture on it? lol

lol I think that weird names and weird things in general is just part of that "hardcore" trend. I think it's because they're all into originality and not following the crowd. Hope this answered your question.

the devil wears prada is a christian band

The Blood Brothers were one of the most creative bands musically....as for the crazy names... they just dont take themselves too seriously and dont make a big deal out of their music...

Yeah, it's all so random, but I guess they TRY to stand out, and they get pretty popular doing it, so more bands do it. I guess it's just ''in'' right now.
