At a funeral if the minister needs to say the deceased wasn't strange, doesn't that mean they were strange?
At Michael Jackson's memorial service the Reverand Sharpton said to Michael's children "There wasn't nothing strange about your daddy..."
The very fact that the minister felt the need to say it confirms that their dad was indeed VERY strange. I have been to many funerals and never heard the minister say anything of the sort.
