My 12 year old daughter now wears a size 32DD bra. Where can I find a quality yet affordable bra in this size.?
I live in Northeast Ohio. I could only think of Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood but my daughter is only 12 and I don't want her wearing anything from either of those stores. As you can imagine she is a very curvy girl and looks more like she is 17 or 18. I try to keep her trendy yet I don't like her to look older than what she is. It's an ongoing problem which my mother had with me. So I'm not interested in my daughter wearing sexy underwear at all. She doesn't have to look like a spinster but she doesn't need to look like she's going on her honeymoon either. She needs a lot of support because she is into cheerleading and other sports. I hope this helps.

When I was 12 I was filling out a poorly fitting 34DD so I know the pain here. (I was remeasured as a 28G at 13 and finished out as a 28H at age 16, so I've definitely done my fair share of big bra shopping!)
Victoria's Secret is about the worst thing you can do to a girl with large breasts and a small frame- they have an atrociously small size selection, can't measure worth a crap, and are only interested in selling you what they have in stock- when I went in there at the age of 16, they tried to put me in a 36C- my ribs measure 26, and my bust 34! The band hung from my frame and the cups might as well have been nipple covers but the girl insisted it was a perfect fit and that I buy several in that size!
Make sure that when she's wearing the bra the band is very snug and lays straight across her back on the loosest hook so that it provides the support she needs and gives it room to stretch over time. I danced for 15 years so I know how important support is with larger breasts and vigorous activity. In many cases girls are wearing a too-large band size which causes back/shoulder and neck pain, and speaking from personal experience, chronic migraines. :(
If you're absolutely sure of her size, check out these sites: http://figleaves.com/ http://www.biggerbras.com/ http://www.brastop.com/ or http://bravissimo.com/
You might be spending a little more, but a correctly fitting bra is completely worth it.
Make sure she's remeasured every 6 months as she's still very young and probably still growing. I find that this calculator is extremely accurate, it spits my size right back at me and converts it to other country's sizes as well- very useful :) http://www.atlastravel.nazwa.pl/mini/

My immediate thought was Fredericks. That's where I found the best bra's when I had huge ta-tas (I had a reduction at 21, I am now 24).
I suggest you check out Fredericks for yourself, and buy her the most tame bra's you can find. I would never take a 12 (or 13, or 15) year old in there either. Victoria's Secret is a little different. I would take a young girl there, its a lot more tame. She might be more comfortable having you in the room if she's getting sized.
Good luck, and thanks for being such a dedicated and concerned mom! I havent seen much of that besides my own mom lol

That's the size I wear (well, much larger sister-size actually), and Victoria's Secret has some comfortable and very basic looking bras in this size. They don't have padding in them either, just lightly lined t-shirt bras. They're still having their sale now too, until the 14th. I've tried looking in a VS store for this size but they only have it online, as is the case with a lot of other stores.
Macy's, Nordstrom, TJMaxx, Marshall's, Burlington Coat Factory...they all carry this size. The last 3 being your cheapest options, if price is an issue.
Normally I wear a size 28, and I buy them from Figleaves.com. If you're looking for a more sports bra style, they've got them there.
Some links:
http://www2.victoriassecret.com/search/sale/search... - all the 32DD's on sale, the full coverage ones fit really well, and the cotton ones are very comfortable.
http://www.figleaves.com/us/nsf/qwiseranswered.asp... - priced from Low to High (I don't recommend the Figleaves line though...the sizing is off).
http://www.figleaves.com/us/product.asp?product_id... - Keep in mind bras that are 3-sectioned like this one will give the best support and keep you from falling out. I have this one and the support is superb! T-shirt bras...although they give a smooth sillouhette, do not give great support and you end up sagging a little bit in them.
I have to disagree with the answer above me. As with any brand of bras, some are going to have their faults. I have 2 bras from Panache, same size and style, one fits perfect and the other does not and seems quite inferior. Victoria's Secret is like that as well. HOWEVER...they do have some very comfortable and well fitting bras. I find them to be more of a trial and error store. It's true they do not know how to measure and they carry only your basic range of sizes, but the one bra that I wear every time it's done from the laundry is the Full Cup VS Cotton bra. The band is a bit on the large side but the cups fit perfect so I can't complain. (Also to the user above me...the sales associate probably though it fit you well because a 28G and a 36C hold the same exact cup volume. I'm sure the cups weren't as small as you made them out to be. I'm the same size as you. And that bra size calculator is about 1 cup size off.)

She is going through the change of life....it might take her a little time. I would suggest you try an undershirt, like a tank, that has a built in bra and/or a sports bra, something that will be a little more comfortable for her to start with. That way she wont feel all grown up. I develop in 3rd grade and I didnt want to wear a bra cause I thought that ppl would know I was wearing one and would make fun of me. Of course that didnt know and I was never made fun of. But I started out with sport bras.

my friends sister works at fredricks of hollywood, their bras are 2 for 39. which is pretty affordable compared to victorias secret.
she also has large boobs (and their real!) she is a size 32F and fredricks is high quality and really supported her so i suggest that place! or u can have low quality and go to walmart! i guess that works too!
( and just because you are buying bras from there doesnot mean you need to buy undies also... and not all their undies are too sexy cause im 15 and i wear em all the time )

Ignore the idiot with that long list. Friggin Spammer.
A little pricey but you can try Victoria Secret, really great quality.
If you're running low on cash you should check the nearest Conway the bras are cute and comfortable and cheap!

I work at Frederick's and we actually have bra's that don't look that sexy for larger cups... I would know Im a 38DD and I wear the smooth sensation and lace bras... if you remove the padding they aren't push ups anymore...
