So how's this hope and change working out for you?

This is all the hot air Obama campaigned on.  Consumer confidence is down, retail sales are down, highest unemployment in 26 years, despite being scolded that we must past the stimulus bill immediately to keep this from happening.  Billions of dollars thrown at the auto industry to keep them from having to go bankrupt only to find that they still must fill bankruptcy now with our tax dollars to boot!  Hope?  I don't see it.  Change?  Way too much in the wrong direction!

Did Rush mention any of that?  Did he point out that last month's retail sales decline continued a slump that began in June of 2008?  I know y'all think Obama's the Messiah, but he really can't work magic overnight.  As to the auto industry, what do you think would have happened to consumer confidence and retail sales if two million people had suddenly been added to the unemployment rolls, not to mention all the pass through effects to suppliers?

So, yes, I'm satisfied for now.  But you never will be, because Rush makes his money keeping you informed only on things that support your anti-Obama stance.

To quote the bumper sticker found on Facebook  "I'll keep my money, freedom and guns.  You keep the change."

Obama forced the stimulus package...I have not see one single positive thing come from that.  Unemployment continues to go up.  We no longer have General Motors, we have Government Motors.  They need to let the chips fall where they may.  If you screw up your company, it folds and you start over.  Yes, that would hurt a lot of people but it would motivate a lot of people too.

All this mess is designed by Obama to help him push through his socialized medicine plan.  The more people who are unemployed and have no health insurance, the more people who willing to go along with his crazy plan.  Let's ask Congress and the President if they will be on this plan as well?  I guarantee they will not!

And now to end of a lighter note:
Recession is when your neighbor loses his job
Depression is when you lose your job
Recovery is when Obama loses his!!!

just wait for the recovery to come about~it may take 10 or 15 Years

Consumer confidence is up not down. During recessions the unemployment numbers do not come back up until the recession is over. We are in one of the worse in history. The last recessions it over 2 years for the jobs to return. Because I took the time to learn this I have no problem with President Obama's handling of the economy at this time.

Change takes time.Unfortunately we all want things yesterday. The economy didn't tank in a few months so rebuilding will take a while. My 403b increased this quarter. What is your solution?I even bought a GM car.
