Is "John Wayne" a slang term for Jesus Christ?

Hello--I'm always a bit behind the times in terms of modern English. When people use slang, I sometimes get confused ~_~.

So, is "John Wayne" a slang term for Jesus Christ?

Also, who was *The Seuss" (note: not "Dr." Suess)?

I know this is a strange, but urbandictionary.com was no help, so I must resort to pestering guys. Sorry for the strangeness and thanks in advance : )

No we don't. If you only consider the context of John 20, you might see the light. Ay John 20:17, Jesus told Mary to deliver a message to his apostles. The mesage: "I am asending to MY GOD and YOUR GOD." That shows that Jesus and Mary both worshiped the SAME GOD! Did John conclude that Jesus was God because of what Thomas said? No. At John 20:31, John wrote: "But these have been written down that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that, because of believing, you may have life by means of his name." Read the scriptures I quoted from YOUR Bible. You will see that they agree. Your confusion, and the ones who share it, becomes more profound by the day. You say the trinity (three persons) is God. You also say Jesus (one person) is God. So what do you believe? You believe in TWO GODS--a three-person God AND a one-person God, yet you think they are both compatible with Scripture! You and those who agree with you need an accurate study of the Bible FAST! In the book of John, Jesus, John the Baptizer, Nathanael, and the apostle John ALL called Jesus the Son of God. But when you read what Thomas said, you completely ignore what the others said about Jesus being God's Son. Why? Because the trinity doctrine has warped your sense of reasoning. So sad. A number of people who agree with you did not answer your question. Are you going to report them? I didn't think so. Why should you? THEY are your cheering section! Catholic priest, John L. McKenzie, S.J., in his Dictionary of the Bible wrote: "John 1:1 should rigorously be translated 'the word was with the God [=the Father], and the word was a divine being. The Bibles that say "a god" are not reliable? Why not? It has already been shown to you that the KJB has spurious trinitarian slants. But you have no problem with that Bible, right? You are so incrediby biased that words cannot express just how much!

John Wayne was an actor who played in many movies but mostly westerns.

I have never heard of any reference to Jesus in connection with John Wayne. I can't imagine what the 2 would even have in common?

Except for Dr. Seuss, I wasn't able to find any information related to the name other than him. Sorry

John Wayne probably considered himself a Christian, just like the rest of the conservative right wing oriented population.
