Definitely go to the Art Museum. They have an awesome psychadelic poster exhibit that's going to be here through the 19th. Denver Zoo can even be fun for adults, it's not just a bunch of screaming children. The Museum of Nature and Science is right next door. The 16th Street Mall is pretty nice to walk at night when it's a bit cooler.

If you have time to get down to Boulder, walk the Pearl Street mall and explore the city, it's a college town so they have a lot of weird little shops that you can visit. While you're there you might be able to tour a beer factory.

A Rockies game is a lot of fun! Tickets start at $4 for the "Rock Pile", the farthest seats, and go to $55 for club level seats.

Water World is also great! It's a fun water park and is currently on the Travel Channels "Americas Top Water park" list! Tickets are $33.95 but if you go after 2pm they are $17!

If you want to go shopping 16th Street mall or the Cherry Creek Shopping District are wonderful. They are outside so you can enjoy the summer weather!

For a smaller amusement park try Lakeside Amusement Park. It opened its gates in 1908; it'll take you right back to Lakesides golden age. Here you have to buy "coupons" for a certain ride. For example you need 2 coupons for the ferris wheel, while on the merry go round you need 1. Coupons are 50 cents each!

Denver Center for the Performing Arts is my favorite! RENT will be here June 9-14, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be here July 23-26. Wicked will be here Oct. 7-15. Tickets start at about $30 and run to $95, so it gives you a good price range. I would definitely call thought, one time I got tickets the day of the show for $18 (they were upper balcony though).

Estes Park and Boulder...make a day of those 2 cities. They are not too far from Denver and if it is really hot in Colorado that day, Estes Park is at some elevation so you might get some relief from the dry heat. I am sure Estes Park has a tourism website.

Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, history Museum/Planetarium/Laserium complicated with Imax, city Park, sixteenth highway Mall, the new child's Museum, Molly Brown abode, or excursion the Capitol development or city and County development, or maybe the Library or paintings Museum. Lot's of previous vintage shops on South Broadway. The Fireman's Museum is cool, too. experience the sunshine Rail or in simple terms carry out, friendly place.
