Gmac will not come and repossess a truck that I have. After I got divorced, my ex-husband bailed. I subsequently had to file for bankruptcy, in which I successfully got discharged. Now, I have this truck that GMAC will not come and get, nor will they release the lien, so I can't even sell it; I have zero use for this truck, (it's my ex-husbands old work truck) and it is just parked. I just got off the phone with GMAC, and they said it isn't economical for them to come get the truck, and that they will hold the lien until it's paid off. I got the truck discharged in my bankruptcy, so I am no longer financially responsible for it. What do I do? I'm trying to rebuild my life, I don't want to not pay GMAC, I just don't have the money. My ex-husband is over ten thousand dollars in arrears in child support, like I said, he bailed.

My ex-husband skipped town, and hasn't paid child support in almost two years. I haven't heard from him in about 5 months. My kids are 5 and 7. My former mother-in-law on occasion will call and want to visit with the kids. I have let her in the past. This Christmas season, my finances have been a terrible hardship, and getting the kids gifts, plus paying utilities and rent, well, the kids don't have many gifts from me. My former mother in law, who I've told my money situtation to, got the kids a lavish spread of gifts. This pisses me off. No one takes financial care of my children other than me. She has the money to get them a bunch of gifts, and look so much better than me because shes not the one paying for all their care. I am. She doesn't do anything to have her son pay any child support. I'm really upset. How wrong of me would it be to just sever ties with her? I don't think my kids can learn anything good from any of that whole side of the family anyway, other than how to shirk responsibility. I need advice!!!

I got divorced two years ago. In the divorce papers, I was granted the truck, and last year I loaned the truck to my ex because he was going through some hard times, and he claimed he would set up a payment plan with the truck finance company. Now I find out he didn't make a payment plan, and he wont give me the truck back. What can I do?

I live in Missouri. The truck does not run anymore, and I still unfortunately owe money on it. I am moving and I cannot take the truck with me. I just need it gone!

I have a ps2 now. I had played these games several years ago with a ps1, plus a gameshark for ps1.

I am a middle school science teacher in the state of Missouri. I was just laid off due to budget cuts in my school district. I have been searching for a position in the fall and coming up with nothing available, because a lot of districts are laying off teachers. I need to cook dinner for two tonight, and I want to impress because this is a special occasion. No pasta, rice or bread, I guess. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen the movie, but the permission slip says there is nudity and graphic violence in it? What do you think? Is this an appropriate movie for 11 year olds?

I think maybe not a complete ban , but a law saying if you have one you need to muzzle it if it is outside or have a six foot fence? I want to make this happen, because I just moved and found out my neighbor has a pit bull they tie to their tree out back. It barks and growls whenever we come outside, and if it got loose it could hurt or kill my toddlers.

I just moved into a new rental house. I have two kids, age 2 and age 4. I have a wonderful back yard, that is fenced, unfortunately the fence is only 4 feet high. AFTER I moved in, I found out the next door neighbor has a pit bull dog that they tie to their tree out back. It does look like a reletively strong chain, but if that dog broke it and jumped the fence I know it could easily kill one of my kids. It barks and growls when we are out back. It seems like a mean dog, but the neighbors say it is nice. I really want that dog GONE, but the city I live in does not have any ordinances about dogs until AFTER they bite someone. I know homeowner insurance policies do not allow these dogs. How can I find out what company insures their house? It seems horrible of me to do this, but I am afraid of their dog.

I work in a predominately black middle school, with students that have predominately lower-income families. I am appalled by what these kids listen to, I am even appalled by BET and what I see on that channel, which my students regularly watch.

I DO think there is an institutionalized racism alive and kicking in the united states, unfortunately. I look at my students, all bright and wonderful in their own ways, and I feel they are being PULLED in a direction that is HARMING them by listening to music that promotes a 'thug' life, rampant sex (and really dirty sex, considering these are middle schoolers) and I get so angry about it! Either their parents listen to it as well and don't think it is harmful, or don't know their kids are being subjected to this crap.

Now, I don't think ALL hip hop or rap is bad, don't get me wrong. But I think the artists that promote a criminal life should be ashamed of themselves and what they are doing to the black community.

How could someone in real life deal with that kind of guilt? I mean, House is sort-of responsible for his best friend's girlfriends death...How would you deal with it if YOU were in House's shoes?

It is frozen right now. I'm obviously not a good cook, so I can't do anything fancy with it. I'd just like how to make this into a meal for my family.

I'm really curious how young children usually recover from this? How long it takes, etc. I read all the pamphlettes from the doctors office, I'd like to hear from people who have children who have actually went through this, please.
