Welsh section Ds, I love their movements and they're such versatile horses. Chunky enough so it doesn't feel like you're riding a twig, but not so wide it's like a barrell. They also have that edge of cheekiness which keeps you on your toes.

I prefer the Icelandic horse. They're short and stocky, but highly unusual as they know 5 different gaits versus the 3 most horses have. Its been said they were one of the preferred warhorses of the middle ages, as in addition to being sure-footed and hardy, they have an unusual "tolt" gait, in which the horse stays practically level as it covers lots of ground quickly. This gait was perfect for lances, since the rider didn't need to over-correct and "time" the point of impact between bounces.
They were originally brought over from the Vikings, and are considered one of the rarest breeds. Once exported from Iceland, the individual horse can never return.

My favorite breed of horse would be the Friesian. The Friesian is a large black horse from the Netherlands. During the middle ages it was used as a war horse as it was large enough to carry knights into battle in all their armor and yet be agile enough to be maneuverable.Later they were used as draft type horses for agricultural work. The breed almost went extinct but is now on a steady incline of numbers and popularity.
The friesian is generally found to be about 15.3hh, but has been seen anywhere from 14.2-17hh. They are known for their shiny jet-black coats. Having long, thick manes & tails with feathering around the feet. They have long arched necks and are large bodied animals though having the most elegant overall appearance. Today the friesian is used for driving, dressage, other riding, and even agricultural work in some countries.
This is my favorite breed as it is a beautiful and multipurpose horse rich in history. They have such an even temperament and kindness about them that most people immediately fall in love with their character. I have only worked with one all my life but he was a beautiful colt and allot of fun!
Be sure to check them out!

I've been lucky enough to own a bunch different kinds of horses and I gotta say Appy. There's just something about those markings. Love dark colored with huge blankets and peacock spots.Always felt i was discrimanated at the english shows. Buckskin are neat too. There's a lady at my barn with the nicest buckskin I've ever seen. It's tb. She always looks so nice in her polo wraps and matching saddle pad.:D all horses are nice in there own way.

A Quarter horse and Thoroughbred mix. It's a good stout horse with the great speed of the Quarter horse but the better endurance of the Thoroughbred. Great looking horse too.

my favorite horses are the Tennessee Walkers. They are smooth rides, if you know how to ride a gated horse, but I also like Quarter/ Thoroughbred mix fro their higth, and speed.

My favorite breeds would be Friesians, Warmbloods, and Thoroughbreds because Friesians are graceful, Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds are great at jumping and other sports and they all are great horses.
