What happens if you fail your drivers license test in Texas?

Is it also true that if you can get your parents to sign a consent form saying you can drive so you won't have to take the final test?

If you fail the test, reread the manual and reschedule for another exam.

No, you cannot drive a car with a simple consent form or letter from the parents.

I think you have to wait six weeks to take it again. And no, they can not sign a consent form. You have to complete and pass all areas of the test in order to receive a license. If you are under the age of 18, all you have to take is the written test. If you are 18 or older, you have to complete both the written and driving test.

Where'd you hear that ridiculous statement?!

Does that really makes since to you?

Of course it doesn't. If you can't manage to pull off very, very basic driving skills then you aren't allowed to drive and you're giving more time to figure it out.
