Have the handbags returned to Geelong?

I know that the Cats played awful in the first three quarters against St. Kilda and Geelong has been playing very soft. Then, several of the players were out at Brisbane, so that could be an excuse for losing that game.

Losing is a disease and it is contagious. Melbourne have won two in a row, but can Geelong win against the Dees, then the following week against Hawthorn? I will be attending both games, I leave the USA for Melbourne on Tuesday the 14th. I just do not want to see any losses by an excellent team that has been playing "I am bored" type footy, taking it easy, just do enough to get over. That style of half-a$$ed play doesn't win premierships. If anybody reading this is not sure, I am a Geelong member and barrack for the Catters.

Update:

BTW, this is my sixth trip to Oz for the footy, but the first time I have been to Australia since 2003.

Update 2:

Couldn't get Footy Show tickets this year. I have been in the audience five other times before. I will watch the Footy Show on the telly while in Melbourne. Here in the USA, we can't see it. I have been begging for Channels 7, 9 & 10 here, but I just get laughed at by the cable company.

They'll be ok mate, the quality of players they have out would take it's toll on any side.

You're right they were just doing enough to win games, this will sting them in to action, they'll come out firing from here on in.

You don't need to worry too much, Geelong will be fine by next week. They should have most of their missing key players back for the Melbourne game. Don't forget it's being played at Skilled Stadium, they're average win margin over there is about 50 points.

Losing those games were good for Geelong, they will be fine in the finals and won't crack under pressure. St Kilda though, if they come to the finals undefeated or with a single loss, they could react the same way Geelong did last year.

Hey Mate, Great to see that your coming to Australia. Hope the flight and Accomidation is good - and that your team gets up for you.

I am confident that Geelong will not loose against Melbourne, plus they should be getting some of their superstars back this week. Geelong are a strong team - strong teams do not let previous losses get them down. The eagles lost just 5 games in 2006, 2 losses to the dockers - but that didnt let them down. They won a premiership.

Didnt you mention that you were going to the footy show aswell? Hope your trip is good.

It looks like they put the cue in the rack for that game against brisbane just resting a few players so there right for the finals but flirting with your form is a risky thing to do with a flag on the line

Andrew Raines, first pushed Joel Selwood on the chest, Selwood then hit Raines on the face, and as quickly as Raines hit Selwood returned, Selwood fell to the floor, which for this reason, the Umpires blame Andrew Raines because of the fact the only that striked Joel Selwood complicated. for this reason this leaves Andrew Raines getting a three Week Suspension. i'm additionally suspecting that considering the fact that Joel Selwood made the 1st attempt on hitting Andrew Raines on the face, the commentators pronounced something approximately Andrew Raines saying something to Joel Selwood that made him punch Andrew Raines.

Cats are just fine.... They are going to ease off a bit this season before teh finals and then hit hard during them...

They know you do not need to finish on top to win the cup...
