Whats your view about this vaccination question....?

I took my son for his first DPT, Hib, IPV shot about a week ago. A couple of days after he got tiny blisters coming out, i took him back and they said it was chicken-pox....i took him to two other doctors and they also said it was chicken pox, i asked them how could he got it at the same time , they said it was co-incidence. Did he really catch a virus at the same time i dunno...he is doing well now, the blisters are dried up, he gets uncomfortable when he sleeps, is a little grumpy only, other than that he is okay...i dont think i want to continue the vaccinations..am i overreacting? Pls dont be judgemental and answer honestly. TQ

Some people are for vaccinations, some are not.

If you are leaning more toward not vaccinating, check this site out:

    http://www.vegfamily.com/vaccines/index.htm

    http://educate-yourself.org/vcd/

If you are for vaccinations, go here:

    http://www.state.nj.us/health/cd/10by2.htm

Both sides present their own versions of 'facts'. It's your job as a parent to make an educated decision based on what you read, what you see, what you feel.

I feel that vaccinations are right for my daughter. Many do not feel this way.

Now it's your turn to decide where YOU stand based on YOUR research...

My son has had all his vaccinations, but my friends two babies haven't had any. I think they have been homeopathically vaccinated d as they are against the regular vaccines.

All our kids are fine, had no reactions to these. Some people think vaccinations cause autism and allergies and stuff, but I thought stopping my child from getting polio or some other life threatening virus was worth the risk.

If your son is fine now, I would keep up with the vaccinations. Doctors wouldn't be allowed to give children anything that wasn't safe.

You can also only get chicken pox once, so the chance of him having the same reaction is pretty slim.

My son also got chicken pox after the vaccine. It was mild though. But I really wish we had a choice as to whether or not to have our children vaccinated. You can chose to not have the shots done, but when it comes time for school, your son will not be let in. I do not want my kids to get them, but if I don't have them done, my kids can't go to school, and I could go to jail for not having them in school.

I don't know if there is anyway around getting shots or not, but if you research the topic, I'm sure you can find some info on the subject of....to vaccinate, or not to vaccinate.

Also, when my son got the vaccine, the dr told me that sometimes the vaccine can cause chicken pox to build an immunity to it.

I don't know if I gave you the answer you were looking for, but I hope it helps you, and you little boy is feeling better.

  • I doubt it was the shots. Most likely some other child in the office was carrying the chicken pox virus. At least he has had it now and has immunity to it later on. I didn't have chicken pox until I was in eighth grade and I got really ill and have terrible scars from it. Vaccines are one of those necessary evils. They care a small risk of a side-effect but they provide your child with immunity from much more serious illnesses.

The autism arguments has been shown to be fake, and accodring to distinctive those study distinctive issues as nicely vaccines reasons autism. Plus you're forgetting the reality that little ones are over dignosed with it. i'm not asserting that is not real, yet for each 10 little ones that get clinically determined, a million of them could even have it, through fact so little is universal approximately it. 2nd, some people do experiance an allergies to those pictures, in simple terms like some have allergies to ingredients and medicines. i became allergic to the Measles vaccine, and my parenets took me to the ER the place i became taken care of stunning away. My mum and dad have been prepared to take a danger on a shot that could desire to avert a damaging ailment. i became six months old on the time, and that i don't remeber a ingredient approximately that night. 0.33, they do placed animal brains or poisonous chemials in the vaccines. they in specific situations use eggs to bind the ingriedents jointly, yet they ask approximately any all allergies formerly giving on your toddler.

Kids get chicken pox. He might have caught them in the Pediatrician's waiting room or at Walmart. It was just a coincidence.

I think the risks of of not having vac out weighs the risks of getting them. The controversy comes from that they used to use mercury to preserve them And this exposed kids to mercury poisoning. But they do not do that anymore. Look up the effects of polio, small pox, or whopping cough.

Plus your child will not be let into the school system or day car without an up to date shot record.

In my opinion shorts are really important, even if they do have some low risk side affects it would be much worse to get meningitis for example.

It could just be coincidence but why don't you go along for your next set of shots and see how your little guy is. Hope all goes well x

  • poor guy :( first off i hope he feels better and second i would go for one more round of shots and see if anything happens. I could just be how he reacted to the shot but i don't know. But if it doesn't make you feel comfortable then don't take him back for more. I hope i helped
