Trying to remember an old genesis game?

It was a side-scroller where you played as these little dwarf/elf guys that looked like lawn gnomes and you collected stuff to move to the next stage. Anybody know the name of this game?

Update:

Wasn't lost vikings. these guys looked like gnomes.

    I think you are thinking of the game 'the lost Vikings', it was on genesis and was latter released on the sega saturn in an updated version. Wasnt a bad game, there are a few others similar.

    It's new version is called Plantasia but the old one,well...,I'm not sure.
