How do we regain the rights and liberties that the left and neo-cons have taken away from us?

We need to be active not only in voting, but in educating ourselves in what is going on in this country. Keep on those politicians who would take your rights away for their own selfish purposes. Don't let them dismiss you. If they are not doing their jobs, campaign against them and vote them out!

Actively campaign for a person who is sincere in keeping our Constitution intact!

You have just described the main reason for the Civil War, where the then weak federal government ceased power from the State governments. The way the laws are written you must be a lawyer to keep from caught up in the "wide loop" they throw. For example, the right to travel is being denied by requiring a license to drive, and yet they get around that by asking you questions that put you into a status that does require a license. The most common of these questions is, "are these your passengers" which makes you a taxi driver and subject to requiring that license. Why even the flag in traffic court is from international law of the open seas, or Maritime Security Regimes. Always fear a golden bordered flag, for once you cross the gate you are on the deck of a ship and the judge is a captain if you let them get away with it.

I could go on and on... your best bet is to study with others.

Its simple. People need to pay close attention to what their government is doing on a daily basis. People need to reach conclusions on what they think the government should be doing. People need to vote in every election.

The reason that so many special interest groups (right and left) have been able to have their way with the rest of us, is most people just don't care enough to educate themselves as to the issues and vote.

Vote OUT the people who do not listen to want the people want. Keep the people who seem to do what is right for our country.

Hope that Obama is found ineligible to serve as POTUS in the courts.

Yep its an abuse of power that both parties seem to cash in on. The old style of democrats have gone away. I would be surprise if I were to be proven wrong.

Elect a real leader like Ron Paul or a valid 3rd party libertarian.

Or a bloody revolution like 1776!
