85 in a 45 punishment?
Whats a common punishment in santa rosa county for doing 85 in a 45. Anything 30 over is mandatory court date. Just wandering what to expect. Do I need a lawyer?

Traffic fines are statewide.
If your violation was 22350, the penalty is $430 plus one point.
A lawyer wouldn't affect your case one way or the other, unless s/he could convince the judge to reduce your speed fine by 20 MPH, which of course would not happen.
Edit: thumbs down? For facts? Huh...

No telling in Santa Rosa, CA. CA is the folks who think OJ was framed.
But in any other State, you'd be looking at some hefty fines, a lengthy suspension, and a whole lot of points.

You are probably looking at Reckless Operation for that many MPH over the limit. Double the points and fine and probably loss of your license for a while.

Well, I don't know, but tell us all what do you think the punishment should be for driving while stupid?
