Jesus is the chief cornerstone. ~Ephesians 2:20~

I strongly believe in Peter's words in Acts 2:38 when he commanded baptism in the name of Jesus.

    1) Protestant Christians who believe the Roman Catholic Church was Not founded by St. Peter?

Well, I hope you realize some important differences.

First, most of those you mention were the groundbreaking Christian missionaries in their regions. In other words, they were the first to bring Christianity to the places that you mention. Thus, in that sense they are (practically speaking) the founders of Christianity in those regions.

However - as we know from Scripture, Christians were living in Rome before Peter arrived there. Peter did not bring Christianity to Rome, he did not bring Christianity to the Roman Empire, and he was not the first leader of the first congregation of Christians in Rome.

There is far more that can be said on this issue historically - mainly, regarding the definition of "Roman Catholic Church" - but what appears above should be enough to answer your particular question. Unlike the others that you mention, we can be **pretty** sure that someone other than Peter was the first Christian missionary to Rome.

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus, not Peter.

Peter was to be temporary head of the Church along with his successors (the popes) until Jesus' return.

John 21: 15-18: "Feed my lambs" "Tend my sheep" "Feed my sheep". These are the roles of a shepherd. We all know that Jesus is the "Good Shepherd", but he gave Peter a temporary shepherd's task while he was away.

So Jesus founded the Church and Peter, along with his successors, watches over the it.

    Peace!

    they don't even believe that.

they believe that the pope is not ACTUALLY DESCENDED from st. peter, as he is supposed to be in the catholic tradition.

so in future learn what beliefs people have before you question them lol

Do you believe that you must be born again?

Do you believe that the only salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ?

Do you believe that you may be way too concerned with "religiosity" and not enough with Christ?

Do you believe in the unity of those who follow and worship Christ?

Have you ever even considered these questions at all?

The Roman Catholic Church was founded by Constantine.

    Apostolic progression is not important

The truth has been, and always will be in God's hands and He will impart it by the Holy Spirit in each believer.
