Your Thoughts About Death??????
I'm just curious about people's different views on life, death, the afterlife, and why. I'd prefer no immature answers, or answers disagreeing with others. Just state your opinion.

I believe there is no such thing. Life and death are the same. It is just a different frequency of awareness. Like the difference between being asleep dreaming or awake. It is just another layer of awareness like all others. Except you are aware of all of them because it is from a higher frequency perspective. :)

(Ecclesiastes 9:5) 5Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) 10Â All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
(Psalm 37:10-11) 10Â And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11Â But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) 29Â The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Revelation 21:2-4) . . .. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
This is what the Creator has in store for us. I know you asked for opinions but this is fact. Thanks for the question.

It is a curtain, a door that all must pass through. However the outcome will be different for different people. After the passage there will be no confusion as to where you are at, or why you are at you final destination. Then after the passage through the prescribed 'door' comes ultimate revelation. This is where you find out if you wrote your own ticket to Hell, or accepted Jesus Christ's provision for Heaven.

Death, as we term it, is really nothing more than a continuing process of Life. I use Life as the source that makes one "alive", makes one whole.
Einstein concluded that energy cannot be destroyed nor does it end. It is fluid and only dissipates. Our Life source is energy as well. Science has determined this and it is more than well documented.
Death, as you present it, is only the completion of the purpose for the body as the body expires and the energy leaves.
Blessings

My opinion and belief is that we all return to the grave in unconscious form. No spirit (soul as some call it) goes to heaven or hell. Ppl will simply be raised either to eternal life or another eternal death by hell-fire, not eternal torment. =) This is actually Biblical, too, btw: http://www.helltruth.com/

I think we will not even be aware of the actual cross over. We will close our eyes here and open them in heaven or Paradise. Life here could have been more beautiful here but we blew it. Still we have hope because through Jesus we are reconciled once again with God our Father.

At death, all of the posessions and relationships we've made will cease to be of any importance. I love God, job, family, and life, but I can't wait for death.

I honestly am not sure. I think many ideas are interesting. I think, though, that while Heaven sounds great, I don't think it's real. I think our dead bodies will just rot.
However, I do believe in spirits and souls, and I think our souls just float around as ghosts.
