why do u suppose folks and yahoo allow wierd questions to dining out like what to hame my child?

YA board like craig's list is monitored by user enforcement. If enough reports are made on off topic posts or questions/answers that are against the YA TOS the postings get deleted.

If a particular poster gets lots of reports only then do YA personnel step in and block abusive users or remove profiles. Certain boards are magnets for abusive posting [unlike dining out] and those boards see abusive users blocked/removed over and over.

Dining out is really not that controversial a category, so the occasional post that is off topic [like this one] is not going to be a priority to the YA team.
