Years ago, in the Middle East, an american teenager was sentenced to a public caning for vandalism. The sentence was carried out, amid much crying and hand wringing from Americans, who thought sonny boy should be let off and shipped back to America. The spoiled brat got 3 wacks on his bare butt, and I'll bet he never broke the law again.

I think this piece of trash needs the same punishment...forget a year in jail...for this particular crime, a public caning would do this brat a world of good.

To tell you the truth I think she should be locked up for way more than a year. A human being that could kill a kitten in this manner has severe psychiatric issues. This is not just about the suffering that kitten had to endure, but it is also about making sure this girl gets NEEDED HELP..as a side note, I am saddened by the fact that young mothers often get less time for killing newborns than this girl received for killing a kitten. May God forgive us as a society

UGH that's disgusting!!! She deserves 10 years in jail, a $5,000 fine, AND community service. I wish I was the judge. I'd so do that and her community service would be to clean my car and house and massage my feet.

Seriously though, people like this make me sick. I don't even wanna read the article, it'll just make me even angrier. I can't think about this.. I'm getting so upset. Just to think of that poor kitten. Instead of PETA worrying so much about Obama swatting a fly, why don't they try and do more about people like this crazy *****? She deserves more than just 1 year in jail! Like everyone else says, she deserves to be thrown into an oven herself!!!

I read this. How can someone put a kitten in a stove? And not let it out? She's just a sick individual, I would like to see her put in a stove and burned to death!

She is sick. A future serial killer for sure. Let's pray she never has children.
