Any Akita lovers out there?

Our Akita now is eleven months old today. We love her so much, and she makes such a great pet and companion. She is close to 100 pounds, and is very affectionate with all of the family. Very good guard dog though. She lets us know when anyone is near. She even adapted to living with our English Bulldog. Anyone else out there that loves Akitas?

I love Akitas but I am not keeping any right now. I rescued one two years ago from the streets. She was a brindle Japanese Akita. Nice dog but had some behavioral issues which is very common in the breed. She now lives with a loving family.
