Which would you take as a compliment?

Being called a "young, old (wo)man" or being called an "old, young (wo)man"

And for the ladies: How would you react to this- "From far away you look pretty, but up close you look like a scarecrow." Compliment, insult, or WTF?

Just got bored and decided to post this XD

Update:

just a sidenote: The scarecrow remark is something I overheard one day.

I'd take the second as a compliment, because I would think that they are calling me wise for my limited years. An old mind in a young body, to be more clear.

I'm not a woman, but I'm pretty sure that's an insult.

None of these are complimentary. The scarecrow remark is downright rude.

I personally like it when someone comes up to me and says, "You're so ugly, when you were born, the Doctor slapped your mama."

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
