Question

Any Chance that Tampa will go back out and pick back up Derrick Brooks. I heard a while back that he said anything is possible... even going back to tampa if they so wish.. I think it would be the smart thing to do.. I like Quincy Black and he is a fast dude for 240 pounds and all but come on, hes no Derrick Brooks. No one on the team can perform like Brooks at this point in his carreer.. and if you think no where do you think he ends up now. I dont think that he will retire.. I think he will some how play even if he has to take a lil money deduction... What are your thoughts of this great Vet?

I think if he has a chance to play, it's not with the Bucs. Great as he is, he's long in the tooth as well. What is he? 35 years old I believe? He had a GREAT run. I think he'll hang up the cleats because nobody picks him up, but I think if some other team loses linebacker depth because of injuries, Brooks might get picked up. At this point if he has to play, he'll play anywhere that asks him too. I loved the guy, fierce competitor and leader. He'll be good for whatever team gets him. IF he's picked up.

As a long time Bucs fan I am certain that Brook's days as a Buc are over. Resigning him now would be Dominik and Morris saying that they made a mistake releasing him and that they need him back and they are not about to do that. They said they want to go younger, stronger and faster with their players.

Its not likely after they picked up derrick ward from the Giants...They put a franchise tag on him as they are declaring him their Starter
