Where is the starter solenoid located on a 1989 GMC 2500 van?

It is on top of the starter which is at the rear of the engine in front of the transmission on the passenger side. you should be able to spot it pretty easy. You will need to remove the starter to get to the solenoid though. You may also have to drop the exhaust at the manifolds not for sure though
