Someone has already given you the information about Daniel Boone. He died before the Battle of the Alamo took place.
I think you may be thinking of James Bowie who died at Fort Alamo as well as Davy Crockett.
James Bowie was famous for the Bowie Knife.

1 - He was not in the Battle of the Alamo. #2 - The Alamo is in San Antonio, Texas Boone spent his remaining years in St. Charles, Missouri, at the home of his son. He died there on September 26, 1820.

No, you are thinking, I think, of David (Davy) Crockett, a one-term House member and frontiersman of whom a popular play was written.
Daniel Boone died in 1820. The Alamo battle was 1836.

You are probably thinking of Davey Crockett who died at the Alamo on March 6, 1836. The Alamo is by San Antonio, not Waco.
