Knee Pain........what could this be?

A while ago (5 months ago) knee pain started to develop right after I hurt my back. My backs is fine now but within the past 3 days the knee pain has worsened. I made a bed step and now it hurts even more. Basically when I flex my knee it feels as if my knee will have clicking above the knee cap. If my extend my knee it feels as if I will have a clicking below the knee. The knee is also stiff and its hard to put weight on it. The pain isn't so bad and has subsided by a lot but the clicking is very annoying........

What can this be?I have had an ACL tear a long time ago in my other knee and it does not hurt. However I did have some sort of injury that required surgery for my current hurting knee to which I did not want and the pain went away after a month.

Your back injury may have been accompanied by an undetected knee injury. In addition, compensation mechanisms may put more wear and tear on the hurting knee. imho...

It's all in the tendons. They need some help. Sitting, feet flat on the floor, wrap both of your hands around that leg above the knee and with your finger tips find the tendons in back, two on the inside, two on the outside, one of them a little up the outside of your leg. Place fingers on all of them. Place your thumbs right behind your knee cap. Now pull up hard with your fingers while pushing down with your thumbs and hold tight. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale, and don't tense up any part of your body, including your arms, let your hands do the work. Hold for 45 seconds and then very slowly start to slide your foot out in front of you to a full extension. Then release the pressure and let it rest there for one minute. That should help your knee.

See a Naturopathic doc (ND) who does soft-tissue therapy and one visit will make a dramatic change. 1-3 visits should handle the problem well.

Only wear flip-flops in the house & high-heels for dates.
