Can I Put a Spinet piano on it's side to get it through a doorway?
The easiest way for me to move this piano is to bring it through the kitchen - only three steps however there is an awkward area between the kitchen and the dining room where it just won't go through unless it is turned on it's side. Can I do this or will this wreck the piano somehow.

I'm assuming that's how they got it in there. Just have enough people or a proper dolly to move the piano so you don't bang it against anything or worse, drop it. You might have to remove the legs, if that's possible.
