unemployment-collecting unemployment and working for a month?
I am currently collecting unemployment from a job that fired me 2 months ago in Maryland. I have a friend who is giving me a job next month but it only last 30 days and its in WV. Can I file for unemployment again?

When the short-term job ends, you can resume collecting on the original claim.
You cannot file a new claim until 1 year after you filed the original claim.

No. Unless Maryland is different from Virginia, Maryland wants to know about all of your income.
If you make less than your unemployment pay with your job, then the state of Maryland will pay you the difference between what you would have made with unemployment and what you make in your job.
If you make more with your job than you do with unemployment, then you cannot file for unemployment during that time. You might be able to file for unemployment again after your job ends. You should probably check with the unemployment office about what happens after that job ends.
I guess you could get paid "under the table", but collecting unemployment would be illegal.

If you earn less than half your unemployment any given week, you can still collect your unemployment. Check it out. You have to be available for work or actively searching for work and if you find work, even if less than fulltime, it won't hurt your bennies if earnings are less than Half your bennies. Go online to your state's website and read up on it.
If it's more than half your earnings, then your bennies are reduced $1 for every $2 earned or something. If too much, then no bennies, but after job ends, you can reapply, and list that job as temporary, short term or seasonal.

You'll report the temporary job to the unemployment people. When it ends, your unemployment benefits will resume if you don't find another job.
