Classical Music Form?
I am studying classical music forms, such as rondo, sonata, minuet and trio, and theme and variation. I need to come up with a modern song that is similar to one of these types of forms and explain why. Can someone please help and lead me in the right direction??? Your help is much appreciated.

I suggest finding a Bach minuet and trio for piano and do a chordal/melodic analysis. From there, you can come up with a similar chord progression, and since it needs to be "modern" you can write a more liberal melody (not completely following the "rules" of classical composing). You can use the similar rhythmic patterns and articulations, as well as dynamics and tempo. Good luck!

I have not ever heard a character declare that one kind of tune is awesome to one other kind (however I'm no longer denying that it occurs). I do realize that the 2 patterns are very special. I individually might no longer decide on to examine the 2 to one another thus. I feel each are very exciting and lovely. I do comprehend nevertheless that many folks who've best grown up with the western variety of tune would possibly dislike the sound of arabic tune. Since a part step is the smallest identified musical period in western tune the semi-tones of arabic tune could also be aurally annoying to a few folks who're best acquainted with this kind of tune (considering the fact that semi-tones might simply sound out of track) But the identical is going the opposite direction, for folks who've grown up with predominately arabic tune. Western tune, which best makes use of periods as small as part steps might typically sound dull and unsuitable as good. I think it's most of the time only a cultural factor. And someone who says both one is "awesome" to the opposite one is being a bit of of a bigot.
