Why do so many American's have a huge problem with Soccer?

I am a American i love soccer, but i can still explain why most Americans have a problem with soccer. Most Americans are violent and love football because they get to be violent and watch someone be violent I am not one of those violent people I like Soccer I just had my eyes opened years ago so I can see what kind of people we are becoming. In Soccer you don't get to be as violent so to most typical Americans the sport is boring.

Maybe because it isn't an American sport. If it was an American sport it would be played with a lot of stop/starts. Soccer, as you call it, is played with two long stretches of 45mins - at least.

American's also adapted some of their other sports for there own:

American football (a lot of stop/starts) derived from the British sport of rugby.

Americans don't hate soccer? Every weekend in autumn millions of kids are playing soccer games.

It's dull and boring to watch. I don't care if anyone else watches it though, as long as they don't try to insult me for not watching it, which has happened before. I never have understood that attitude.

I don't think that it's a sissy sport, i just don't care for it. It doesn't excite me. Just like NFL doesn't do anything for me, but I love to watch college football.

I think golf is a sissy sport...
