The first human beings would almost certainly have looked black, or dark-skinned, anyway, as all human beings originate from Africa, and it was only after this, when humans left Africa, that they visually began to change i.e. whiter-skinned Europeans, and straight-haired Asians. :)

Early man has evolved for 14 million years. Discovered by one of the early archaeologist, Nefrid Willdabeast of England the earliest of man resembles in facial features and size to that of Michael Jackson. Many dispute his findings, but if you check it out yourself, the resemblance is astonishing.
