I have a cf32g50 toshiba tv that you have to hit the side to get it to come on.?

If you can get it to come on for more then 30 seconds it will stay on forever. If you turn it off it will come right back on. If it cools down after you shut if off you have to go through the slap the side routine. I have taken the back off and shook things and cannot get it to go off or come on by doing that. Any ideas. Thank you

    Step 1: Pick the tv up

    Step 2: Put it outside on the curb

    Step 3: Drive to store (walking okay toobut i recomend driving)

    Step 4: Bye a new tv

    Step 5: Hook it up INSIDE your house

    Step 6:Enjoy
