where can one buy really "goth" clothing?

as much as I hate using labels, I can't think of a better description for what I'm looking for. besides online, what are some good actual stores for buying more "extreme" bits of clothing?

Make your own, that's the best possible source.

    Thrift stores.

Or, in a pinch, Hot Topic will suffice.

What I do, is just buy plain black clothing with no lables, sayings, etc. i buy a lot out of kingsize magazine (i'm 6'2") and that's where i find a lot of nice, plain black t-shirts and button up shirts.

but really, you don't even need to dress the part to be goth....if you just want to look like it, you're a poser.
